Unusually, I'm still a promoter over three decades later with my event Rubber Cult, now in its 15th year. However, there are very few venues anymore. So blessed to have House of Magic.
Rubber Nipple Club and Club Rub ran for 22 years, and I used many different venues in London, and one favourite venue - Dukes for seven years!
The clubs below have all been gone 10 years now as I initally wrote the blog when I closed down Club Rub, and became a pro domme. Club Rub operated EVERY month for 20 years (see image of iconic night). It is so sad to see the loss of these nightlife venues. Thus resulting in the slow death of the London clubbing scene.

Educating a younger generation on how much nightlife there used to been cannot be adequately conveyed. Many of the younger generation look at you like your some kind of unintelligent baby boomer, unable to use a smart phone!
Rubber Cult is not only my idea and concept for a rubber ONLY event, but is still a successful event selling out both times last year 2025. Tickets for April 2026.
Invented rubber ONLY clubbing
London really is not the place to party anymore, well, not like it used to be. It's heartbreaking for the youngsters. There no new youth culture, no new music movement and no new clubs. The dangers are immeasurable; spiked drinks, trafficking, dodgy Ubers, dangerous drugs, unsafe streets. How much more can our great capital afford to lose?
The venues that are left are under pressure, and in turn that is reflected in price of venue hire (or bar take) and this is very high.
Bravely flying the flag for UK fetish events
There are still new venues and events to go to like, Fetish Weekend London run by my dear friend Mistress Tess, and Madame Caramel this Easter April 2nd.
