Affectation moi? No, I really do love tea, and the ritual and traditions of English afternoon tea. Take a look at my list below, pick a place I haven't been to, then message me. We will book a time and agree a place, you book it and send me the conformation.
Previously I'd written a Afternoon Tea blog and have since ticked off many of the place I listed when I first wrote it.
This classic formula provides a delightful balance of savory and sweet treats, making afternoon tea a cherished tradition in England. English afternoon tea, the typical menu includes:
Sandwiches: A selection of finger sandwiches, such as cucumber, Coronation chicken, smoked salmon, and egg salad.
Scones: Warm scones with clotted cream and jam. Wrapped in a warm cloth.
Miniature Cakes or Pastries: A variety of sweet items, including pastries and cakes.
Tea: A choice from a range of teas, such as Earl Grey, Assam, Rose Pouchong or Darjeeling.

Childhood love of sandwiches
Small currently, but I will keep updating this list, as and when I find more:

L'Oscar Hotel is my most favourite hotel
Beautiful hotels are my preference. Maybe my most favourite hotel is L'Oscar Hotel in Holborn. It was a mission building. L’oscar’s past is as intriguing as its future. Built between 1901 and 1903, in a style coined "Edwardian Free Baroque", it was the London headquarters of the Baptist Church. In an irony Oscar Wilde would have appreciated, a place of piety that has been transformed into a place of decadence.
While original biblical Doulton terracotta panels still line the walls, as well as leather and velvet-draped walls, as L’Oscar now celebrates a more sensual devotion. Uniquely sophisticated, the hotel sits in the heart of London’s Southampton Row. Oscar Wilde would have appreciated the decadence.
Ninety percent of these list below I've enjoyed
Hopefully, this is an exhaustive list, as I've racked my brains to include them all.

The box used to carry uneaten afternoon tea cakes is commonly referred to as an afternoon tea caddy. These boxes are designed to transport traditional afternoon tea items such as cakes, sandwiches, and scones safely and elegantly. They come in various styles, including single-tier, double-tier, and three-tier options, and are often customized for specific events or businesses.
In conclusion, there will always be somewhere I havent been before, so lets go!?
