Frequent flyers like myself have a prepack sundries bag and a document/tech check list, ready and waiting. As a professional I never travel to work. How it works with regard to sessioning with me is, 'you' get on a flight and come to me! Here are some mistress flight tips.

Dublin blog tells you how to get in and out of East London to see me in a day. This can work for any short-haul trip, and not just Ireland. If you are travelling a little futher afield then an overnight may be needed. London now offers many capsule/sleep pod options for under £80 (especially low season). This one looks great and it even has a fabulous commual area for working, also it's in the heart of London's West End. Close to the East End as I'm in E2.
This is as much for me, as for anyone else
Excited about the trip? Don't forget these three distinct and important areas.
1. Going to the airport with everything you need, for both ends.
2. Easily accessable travel essentials; money, travel documents and phone (fully charged).
3. Bag with in-flight items.

Top 20 Travel Tips
1. Access to the lounge may be available with certain credit cards. Or think about purchacing access, especially if you need and main meal and enjoy a few preflight drinks. Grab a few inflight snacks here too or for when you get to your destination late.
2. Take everything you like to have at-hand in just one bag. A must for long haul.
3. Compression socks for long haul. Especially if you are someone who sleeps the majority of the journey.
4. Personally, I like to be smart/casual at the airport. I don't own trainers, hoodie or joggers. However, I have elegant looking travel wear. Don't put your bear feet on the floor - yuk! Layers are also good as one minute it's hot the next it's cold. A wrap is ideal.
5. Handheld fan or rechargeable one.
6. Headphones and/or earplugs.
7. Entertainment via an iPhone/iPad. Download some films, YouTube channels, podcasts, etc. Books and magazines.
8. Technology. Change all devises in advance. Pack cables and battery packs.
9. Bring snacks/food to the airport, as it's not only expensive there but they have a limited selection. Hydration is important but you just need to bring a drinking bottle and fill it departure side.
10. When travelling long haul it's a good idea to immediately set your devises to the time of your destination. No surprises when you arrive.
There are more tips, however these are the most obvious

13. Screen shot all your documents just in case!

14. Sundries; hand cream, nail file, painkillers, antacids, eye drops, sanitiser, skin hydrators and lip balm.

16. Anthing you need to remember like, where you left the car? How you packed your case? Hotel address? Etc etc, can all be as simple a photograph.
17. Pen and paper. You might not want to get your phone out when you are not fully aware of your surroundings. Hotel address on a piece of paper can be handed to a cab driver.

18. Chains and padlocks. Chain your luggage together. Then to you, or the chair leg, or to the luggage rack. Two keys; one in purse, one on your body.
