I really enjoyed last Saturday's workshop - it helped me to focus on the advantages of starting with a smaller selection of services so I can expand when I feel confident to do so. As an aspiring pro-domme, I wanted to set myself up with the best education possible to ensure that I was prepared for my first sessions. In order to gain the knowledge & confidence required, I looked no further than London's Queen Bee- Miss Kim, who is known to have launched the career of many a successful Domina. Although nervous initially, I immediately felt at ease after a warm welcome in Miss Kim's comfortable and private dungeon space in East London. The other ladies attending that day were a real mixed bag- an even split between lifestyle and aspiring pro-Dommes- all so lovely and equally excited to be there. I knew the lesson was several hours long, and having ADHD, I was a bit concerned about my ability to sit still and be a good student- but oh my- it flew by, and I was rapt with attention, hanging off Miss Kim's every word, and mentally filing each amazing tip she offered. The curriculum was both comprehensive and fascinating- taking you through so many elements of being dominant, from your first steps in choosing a name, all the way through how tools can be used in a session, and of course, best practices for safety. It was a wonderful day, and I enjoyed every moment of being taught by someone with such wide-reaching expertise. Wow! Where do I begin?! I took one of Miss Kim Rub’s workshops today and I will be forever grateful for the experience! Miss Kim is a natural educator, full of knowledge, wisdom, creativity, innovation and experience which reaches far and wide. She delivers her content with eloquence, confidence, inspiration, variety and humour. She is organised and professional, yet relaxed, down to earth and in control throughout. She has a very open, warm and extremely approachable demeanour which would put anyone at ease - and it begins as soon as she greets you at the door and remains constant throughout. She is clearly not teaching for monetary gain (the reasonably priced workshops are testament to that). Miss Kim's course was a great introduction at starting your own Domme business. Myself I am normally sub but her sessions gave me insight into how much work my Dom does and how I can help. Additionally, it prepared me to be more forceful in my demands and expectations in my first experience this week as a Domme. Her lighthearted sharing helped me realize improvisation is a great trait and that basic kitchen items like spatulas and recycle bags make great BDSM tools. I would recommend that future sessions have some hands on learning maybe with a slave 😉 Stacey.

Wow, what an amazing workshop, I didn't go in with many expectations but have come out beaming from this workshop! On arrival we were given a glass of Cava and did some introductions, I felt relaxed from the start and it made you feel like you were meeting with old friends to discuss the ins and outs of the Mistress Lifestyle. The group was made up of Lifestyle Mistresses and those wanting to progress to Pro Domme. Miss Kim was wonderful and showed her very witty side which had us in fits of giggles many times, a beautiful person inside and out and very knowledgable in the subject area. We were shown erotic spanking, by Miss Kim, and rope demos by the lovely Bella. Many useful tips were discussed throughout the workshop and I'm glad that Miss Kim summed these up in a 'takeaway' email as there were so many to remember, I'll never have quite the same visit to a B&Q store after those!!! I saw my first client as a pro Domme yesterday and had a great session! I was quite nervous at the beginning, but settled in quickly and really enjoyed it. Your workshop played a big part in giving me the confidence to do this kind of work and not feel like I have to spend a fortune on fetish gear. I used my tights to tie the wrists, as a blindfold and to tie the ankles...my slave loved it! The workshop was really fun and interesting. As someone fairly new to all this, it was great to get so much information and advice to help me decide what I might want to do next. I opted for the private session and can honestly say it was the most fun, informative and relaxed experience I could have wished for. The session was conducted in an informal fashion with a mixture of PowerPoint, practical demonstrations (poor cushion) and good old fashioned conversation with questions and experience sharing. Mistress Kim is an incredibly eloquent, experienced and humorous woman who encouraged me to ask questions (and I did ask some very stupid ones!) and answered them with practical insight and intelligence. wanted to say a big thanks for the workshop last Saturday! It exceeded my expectations!! I came along to learn how to start as a Pro Domme and had been wondering if the workshop was going to be more aimed at people wanting to take ideas home to hubby. Whereas it did cover that…in graphic detail…it also covered the ‘how to’, ‘where to’ and ‘who to’ aspects of going pro, throughout the afternoon and with plenty of time for questions and specialist advice at the end. I was fascinated by the mix of people who came along too. I loved the fact that there were academics, retail managers, housewives, unemployed and even a couple of escorts! Some people had been in the BDSM scene for a while and some were just curious. The whole session was fun, right from the start, which put everyone at ease. I loved the rope bondage session and am now very keen to get myself some rope to use! I attended Miss Kim's Mistress Workshop on Saturday, 27th April 2013 and it was absolutely fantastic, let me tell you. As a newbie to the BDSM scene and having read, watched and devoured everything I could about the subject beforehand, it takes a seasoned professional to lead a group of women through the various aspects of the scene allied to the wonderful world of kinky fetishes. The other Mistresses were very friendly and had a wide range of interests and backgrounds, but the one thing that I noticed was how open the atmosphere was and Miss Kim's flirtatious, yet light touch really brought the subject to life. My personal favourite aspect was the demonstration of erotic spanking and how you can use everyday household items to enhance even the most vanilla of relationships. There was also a talk from the fabulous Ropejester about the history and mechanics of rope work and the couple's deep love of the subject (and for one another!) really shone through.

Don't be shy about this. If you think you are a Dom or want to explore it, then as Kim says, "you have to be it". So come to the mistress workshop to confirm and realise who you are. I was apprehensive turning up at the venue, not knowing what to expect at the venue and the fellow attendees. But as soon as I walked in I met Kim and another attendee and immediately felt at ease. Everyone was so warm and friendly. The conversation was free and easy, and grown up. There's nothing to be embarassed about, it's all out there and up for discussion, sometimes at length! As for workshop, I'd also call it group therapy. The hands on demonstrations were excellent, and really provided me with some great tips to try out. Our group were all different kinds of Dom, from professionals to sometime home users to those who just simply want to know more. Kim covered all the areas. Some you may have heard of/tried before and others you didn't really knew about before. She introduced a whole new exciting world to explore. She confirmed things I had thought about before but also helped me understand things and situations that I hadn't been approaching correctly or doing right. Now with the newly gained knowledge, and a few new tools, it makes for very exciting and fun home use. Kim, not only looks the part with her immaculate appearance, she has so much knowledge, tips and tricks, and scenarios to discuss we could have been there well into the night. Attending the Mistress Workshop in February has unleashed a side to me that i've never felt very confident exposing, however, since then i have been happily exploring my inner Dom. Being my first time at such a workshop, i really didn't know too much about what to expect and so felt a little nervous before arriving at the venue. I really didn't need to worry though, as I entered a room full of women that were there for the same reason as myself. Everyone was friendly, relaxed and open about their experiences and it instantly put my nerves to rest. x

The class itself was hosted by Miss Kim and her passion and energy, not to mention sense of fun created an electric atmosphere and i found myself absorbed by it all. My mind was exposed to sceneario's that I previously hadn't thought of, this of course, is dependent on how into the scene you are. Discovering so much new information for me was quite a learning curve and the demonstration of shibari was excellently portrayed by Bruce of Esinem. My favorite activity, which to my suprise, was spanking; it has given me a whole new angle to look at. By the end of the end of the day, i was feeling inspired and very creative and delighted to have met so many wonderful like-minded ladies and new techniques to take home and test on my slave. The workshop was a lot of fun, and also very instructional and useful. All I need now ts to ensure I stay motivated. lol There are so many benefits to this lifestyle so as long as I keep reminding myself of this I am sure I can keep my motivation going. I went a long to a one to one mistress workshop with Kim. I found it very interesting & helpful, Kim was very friendly & welcoming which made me feel comfortable throughout. Dear Miss Kim, I would just like to say a BIG Thank you for a fantastic 'mistress' workshop on Saturday! I went along totally unaware of what the workshop would involve & a little apprehensive.. Within minutes I'd forgotten any fear & was enjoying it all so much. Not only are you so lovely & friendly, also extremely glam, personable & fun! (forget my previous thoughts of latex clad, heels like spikes, hair pulled taught, eyes like ice & a whip with spikes!!!) I'm laughing!! The afternoon went in a flash! You broke things down & explained all thoroughly., no question was a stupid question at all. We had such a great time and learnt so much, I now know I could confidently be a Mistress of many forms, again so well explained. Thanks also to Rope Jester.. I've never witnessed a length of Rope thrown out like a sensual wave & extension of a body.. I think the entire room was secretly screaming 'tie me tie me' !!! Again what fun & how useful!!! I feel like my eyes are no longer only half open! I'm a fully fledged Rabbit in the headlights! Really, I can't express how great it was & how well put across you made it all! I wanted to say a big thanks for the workshop last Saturday! It exceeded my expectations!! I came along to learn how to start as a Pro Domme and had been wondering if the workshop was going to be more aimed at people wanting to take ideas home to hubby. Whereas it did cover that…in graphic detail…it also covered the ‘how to’, ‘where to’ and ‘who to’ aspects of going pro, throughout the afternoon and with plenty of time for questions and specialist advice at the end. I was fascinated by the mix of people who came along too. I loved the fact that there were academics, retail managers, housewives, unemployed and even a couple of escorts! Some people had been in the BDSM scene for a while and some were just curious. The whole session was fun, right from the start, which put everyone at ease. I loved the rope bondage session and am now very keen to get myself some rope to use! I’m looking forward to the Doctors and Nurses Ball…can’t wait…and do please let me know when Mistress Vanessa is opening her dungeon session up to us. Thanks again! Caroline x

Hi Miss Kim! Just wanted to say a big Thank You for your help last Saturday. I definitely learnt loads about not just being a Mistress and being a Domme, but a lot more about BDSM too. I am a total newbie, so was trying to soak in as much information as I could that day. As I mentioned in the other email, it was like a curtain has lifted, or like, my thirst for more has not yet been quenched, hehe. I got a copy of SM101 like you recommended, and wow, it is so so informative. I am nearly a third of the way in, and already I am learning so much about things. Questions I had previously, like, "Is that acceptable? Is that right? Is it just me? Am I wrong to think that?"... The book is such a great resource for answering some of such questions, and making you think about other questions/issues as well. Miss Kim, this weekend has been so enlightening for me.
